Frequently Asked Questions

Answers Compiled by Our Team

Below, we have put together a list of our customers’ most common questions. Check out the answers to see if they address your inquiry. If you don’t see the information that you are looking for, please feel free to reach out to us by email and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have!

How many shoes do you typically buy?

Typically, we have found that we buy shoes in the 100-500 unit range on each deal. We have, however, purchased as little as 50 in one deal, and as many as 1,000. We are willing to entertain inquiries of all quantities.

How much do you pay per shoe?

It depends on the brand, style, and age of the shoe. When we do deals, we will uniquely appraise your inventory to a price that works for the both of us. We want this opportunity to be a chance for you to generate cashflow for your store and clear out inventory.

What brands or types of shoes do you buy?

We mostly have found that we are purchasing athletic brands, including but not limited to Saucony, New Balance, ASICS, Brooks, Altra, ON Running, Salomon, and Hoka. We have also purchased work and snow boots in the past, such as Keen, Merrell, Timberland, and BOGS. We do ask that the shoes we buy are new with the original box intact (including the lid).

How do you pay for the shoes?

Typically, we use checks. We have used both regular checks and treasurers check. We can also pay for the goods in-store at your register with a card, or use an intermediary such as PayPal or Venmo. We are open-minded and willing to work out payment in the way most comfortable for you.

How does the process work?

Usually, we determine that there is a demand for your store to sell excess inventory. Once you are ready to meet, our chief product specialist and an assitant will come to your store, take a look at your inventory, appraise it, and give you a price. Once we agree on the price, we buy the inventory from you that day with an agreed form of payment, and head our way. We bring along a work van that usually fits all the  shoes. We have done some deals where retailers will send the list prior to us visiting the store, and we have already established a deal. We also have a setup where if any reason your store is too far to visit, you could ship it to our warehouse as well.

What do you do with the inventory after you buy it?

After we purchase the inventory, we have a multi-level distribution method we use. We sell a portion of the inventory Direct to Consumer through a variety of websites, as well as other wholesalers we have met and connected with through networking.
